Whinging Geordies

Loads of geordies whinging recently about Micheal owen going to Man Utd. Like they weren't rubbish and were relegated just because Owen didn't score enough goals.

Newcastle just weren't good enough last season. Sure there are lost of mitigating circumstances, which started years ago, and yes they are a big club. But you can only stay up on reputation for so long. You actually need to good, as well as big.

If (when) we go down next season, it won't be because we aren't "big" enough. It will be because we haven't scored enough points, like Newcastle last season.

I've still got my fingers crossed that we'll do a Hull though.
